    With Labor Day looming and as back-to-school deadlines beckon, here’s a friendly reminder to enjoy the season despite all its imminent changes. This final phase of summer can be the most enjoyable time of year, and New Haven is well positioned to help make it so.

    The city will bustle with the return of college students and the resumption of routine, and the New Haven Jazz Festival kicks off August 26th to ease everyone’s transition. Three first-rate groups will perform on the New Haven Green August 27th, beginning at 6:00, and nearly a dozen more venues will host live jazz music each night through September 3rd.
