    Mayor Tony HarpAll Things Being Equinox...: At last, it’s spring! New Haven now has more daylight than darkness each day, and with rising temperatures melting the snow we’re in prime position to celebrate a most-welcome new season.

    I appreciate the patience of city residents, business owners, and visitors, and I remain grateful for the hard work of city workers in so many departments for their extra effort to pull (and push, and shovel, and plow) the city through another winter.

    The Downtown Special Services District will host its second On9 of the year April 3rd from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the historic 9th Square Neighborhood. Everyone is welcome to enjoy these ‘first Friday’ events and their special programming.
