    Mayor Tony HarpMid-Winter Update: The first month of 2015 is almost complete, and while it seems to be getting colder outside, we hope everyone is warm and comfortable inside! And it helps to stay active at this time of year – if you need to get up and move the New Haven Free Public Library will host Hip Hop Zumba at the Wilson branch – 303 Washington Avenue – with J-Rob on Thursdays from 3:30-4:30 p.m.

    The past few years, January has been filled with tough weather and ferocious snow storms. The city of New Haven has acquired new snow-removal equipment to ensure smooth operations and the safety of residents and visitors to New Haven. A reminder for all residents: visit Snowcrew.org to sign up for snow removal. It’s a clearinghouse to match those who need snow shoveling and those willing to shovel snow.
