    Call to Order
    The meeting was called to order by Shirley Wayne Washington.

    A. Rollcall by Mary Blair

    10 Present 5 Absent 1 Vacancy

    B. Approval of Agenda

    Motion made by Bob Spirito to accept the agenda; seconded by Ann Tramontana; approved unanimously.

    C. Approval of Minutes

    Motion made by Mary Blair to accept the minutes; seconded by Robin Hobson; approved unanimously.

    D. Coordinator Presentations

    IV&E Reports

    19 new cases open since last report
    July - 22 cases as of August 9, 2007
    As of August 9, 2007, there were 7 with a total of 86 cases.

    Motion made by Ann Tramontana to accept the Coordinator’s Report; seconded by Kathleen Smith-Bogan; approved unanimously.

    E. Open Floor

    Assistant Corporation Counsel Mike Wolak attended.

    Lieutenant Peterson and Sergeant Melendez represented IV&E.

    Chief Administrative Officer Robert Smuts informed the group that PERF will present its draft report to the Independent Accountability Panel on August 20th; the meeting is open to the public.

    Motion to adjourn made by Ann Tramontana; seconded by Mary Blair; approved unanimously.

    The next Civilian Review Board meeting is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 13, 2007 at the New Haven Public Library, 133 Elm Street, Program Room (lower level). All members are encouraged to arrive by 5:45 p.m. if at all possible.
