Training Academy

A modern firefighting training facility has a staff of five. The Director of Training is Captain William Seward.

Apparatus Repair

Picture of a patch for the New Haven Fire Department’s Shop - Apparatus Repair and Building MaintenanceThe New Haven Fire Department operates a state-of-the-art apparatus maintenance and repair facility. Located at 230 Boulevard, civilian mechanics repair, maintain and refurbish the entire departments inventory of fire and rescue apparatus and support vehicles. This division also operates the departments mask service unit.

Apparatus Maintenance personnel are among some of the best in the business.

The Apparatus Repair Division runs smoothly under the direction of Supervisor Anthony Capuano.
