The MCH Division helps to support and engage families to successfully access prenatal care and community-based support services. Services are provided through the following programs:

  • HUSKY – HUSKY Application assistance for uninsured pregnant women and children
  • MANOS – Outreach, home visiting and case management support for pregnant women and their children
  • New Haven Healthy Start – Community-based outreach, health education and awareness and care coordination of services for pregnant women and their children
  • Bereavement Support – Case management and referral for families who have experienced the loss of a child
  • Pediatric Immunization Unit – Outreach support for families and providers whose children and patients are under-immunized.  Maintains and supports the Connecticut Immunization Registry
