Location
The Fair Haven Branch Library is located on 182 Grand Avenue.
The parking lot has moved from
Exchange Street to a lot next to the library at 182 Grand Avenue.
The lot is just east of the library and is
between the library and the middle school.
Exchange Street parking is no longer available.
Directions from the North:
Take I-91 South to New Haven to Exit 7 (Ferry St.), then turn left off the
ramp and straight onto Ferry St. (Ferry St. curves left). Once on Ferry go
straight to the fifth traffic light and turn left onto Grand Avenue. The
parking lot entrance is one-half block down on the right, between the
Library and the Fair Haven Middle School.
Please note: there will no longer be access to the Library from Exchange
Street.
Directions from the South or East:
Take I-95 to I-91 North to Exit 5 (State St.). Continue straight off the
exit to the third traffic light. Turn right onto Ferry St. Once on
Ferry go straight to the fifth traffic light and turn left onto Grand
Avenue. The parking lot entrance is one-half block down on the right,
between the Library and the Fair Haven Middle School.

Services and Programs
Technology Access Center
In addition to the Stetson Branch, the Fair Haven
Branch now has a technology access center that provides
free computer assistance to those with library cards.
Classes in computer fundamentals, the Internet and word
processing are also offered from time to time; call 946-8115
for more information.
Family Place Parent/Child Workshop
Family Place is a free bilingual Spanish/English program for any mom, dad, grandparent or
caregiver and their children ages 1-3. Each workshop is a family learning
connection involving:
- Parenting information
- A playful early childhood area
- Great books for appropriate age level
- Community resources that can help your family
- Professionals to talk about child development
- An opportunity to make friends
