The New Haven Free Public Library welcomes all middle and high school students to take
advantage of the services designed especially for them:
- The downtown (Main) Library has a separate Young Adult area on the first floor containing fiction and non-fiction books, magazines, comics, audio books and DVD's. Computers in this area are reserved for teens. These computers have access to the Internet. Check out important information about Internet safety and take the "Know it all? quiz at Webwise.
- Reference assistance, homework help and readers advisory is available at the Young Adult desk weekdays after school. Call Sunnie at (203) 946-8130 ext. 234 for assistance.

Main Library Programs:

Branch Library Programs:
Beat the Heat at the library! Programs for teens are going on at every library branch throughout New Haven this summer. Come participate in crafts including cryptic codes, cupcake decorating and more. Check out our Library events calendar for date and time information.
Rock the Boat at the Wilson branch library! Teen activities every Thursday at 4:00 pm. Make your own candy sushi, watch anime and more Call:(203) 946-2228 for more info.
Wii Wednesdays Gamers come join ongoing video gaming programs! Follow the Wii to every library branch this summer and play MarioKart, Wii Sports, Wii Play and participate in our Super Smash Brothers Brawl tournament! Date and time information are listed on our

Find out how stuff works - from Bluetooth technology to the Grammy awards. Great for research and reports, or to satisfy your own curiosity.
