Barnard Canoe Trip - West River on October 5, 6, and 7

As part of their science unit on watersheds, Grade 6 students and their teachers explored the West River by canoe. They learned canoeing techniques and safety from the New Haven Parks and Recreation’s Park Rangers. They also learned about the stretch of water adjacent to their school; its natural beauty and habitat, and the physical aspects of the river.
